Best value in very decent Italian good. Pizza is one of the best without driving to New Haven. Friendly service across the board. Great local spot!

Visiting with a friend who lives nearby and stopped in for a casual dinner that proved quite satisfying. With one visit to rate, 5 stars is really a stretch, but it did seem better than 4. Comfortable dining area, friendly service and good food seemed like a winning combination. We shared two 12" pies and 2 salads for the three of us. The pizza was thin crust (Neapolitan style is a thick crust) which enjoyed. Toppings and cheese were ample and tasty -- one special with meatball and ricotta; and one with mushrooms. Salads were fresh and nicely composed. Certainly worth returning.

Great food..Excellent Woodfire Apizza. The staff is very friendly and the place is clean.

I finally got around to trying Julio's and made it a point to go right back the next week after my first experience. I'm not rating it from the stand point of looking for a high end Italian cuisine. I understand Julio's space and they do it perfectly. Way above par wood fired pizza for our area, and above par Italian food. Very fair pricing given the quality and the great service. A local gem.

Very good pizza. I brought a couple pizzas to some friends. They all raved about how good it was.

So, after ordering out from here at least half a dozen times, I finally took a coworker here for a sit-down meal. I think this is definitely the best pizza in the area. Service was great. Ambiance was OK, nothing special. But the pizza? Made with love.

Never had a bad experience here. MUST TRY the Sambuca mussels, such an unexpected pleasure. Husband had the veal arugula which was delicious and filling and I had the homemade penne bolognese which was fantastic. A fairly priced bottle of good wine and our night was made!

We order takeout pizza from this restaurant regularly. The pizza is thin and very tasty. Pomodoro pizza is our favorite. The fried calamari are delicious. They come with hot peppers but you can ask them to make them without the peppers, if you are like me and don't like spicy food. The pick up area is in the back of the restaurant. The staff is always efficient and pleasant.

So today I met with my co Workers for our i person meeting at Julio's. Non of us never been and we met around 1230 and it was pretty quiet in there. The place was closely off the highway in a plaza. Restaurant was pretty spacious and very clean and Our waitress who took our order was very pleasant! So most of my coworkers ordered pizza and salad. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The menu had sandwiches, apps, salads, a few entrees and pizza ( all Thin crust). I ordered a gluten-free pizza, if you don't know GF pizza can be a hit or miss abs sometimes taste like cardboard but I was extremely happy and satisfied with the GF pizza I had. I actually ate all 8 pieces haha! It was delicious!! If I'm Near the area I'd definitely go back but I do come from 45 min away so It's not a place that I would be visiting regularly. But.. if you are around , check it out.

We were celebrating a college reunion in one of our friends neighboring town of Southbury They had chosen Julio's Wood Fired Pizza Grill for dinner, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. They are a family-owned Italian restaurant specializing in wood-fired pizzas, homemade pastas, traditional Country favorites and daily specials. Dinner with friends was wonderful and so was our dining experience.
